This Eagle Slide was inspired by a group of Native American Bent Wood Boxes that I viewed while visiting the Museum of Anthropology up in British Columbia. I wanted to create an Eagle Slide which could be given to young men who attained the rank of Eagle Scout. My focus was to not copy these magnificent works of art but to create a design that was my own while still attempting to honor the spirit from which my idea was spawned.
